Kevin Thomson is the Founder and Head Career Coach of Resume Rede, a workforce research & development firm that empowers individuals to find and secure employment opportunities that match their passions, values, and lifestyle. With a background in Supply Chain Responsibility, ESG, and Market Research, Kevin has received employment offers from noteworthy organizations such as Google, Accenture, Morgan Stanley, MasterCard, The Hershey Company, and Johnson & Johnson. Throughout his career, he’s also been proud to achieve promotions within 7 months, $25K+ salary increases, and being listed as a Forbes 30 under 30 scholar. With a passion for economic justice, Kevin aims to promote inclusivity in the workforce and empower people to make informed career decisions that consider the social and environmental impact of their potential employers. He initially founded Resume Rede to assist peers laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic and provide job seekers from socially and economically disadvantaged groups with the tools to obtain gainful employment. Since then, he’s helped over 100 people discover the next step in their career journey and secure job offers at top companies. Kevin is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Coach, and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. He’s also the Professional Development Chair for the New York Urban League Young Professionals and a member of the New York City Black Chamber of Commerce.
